Currently, the salon employs 5 hairstylists who are paid on commission ranging from 42%-46%. There is one massage therapist who rents the treatment room three days per week for $400 per month. The opportunity exists to rent the treatment room on other days to a lash artist or other beauty provider, as well as add three to five stylists and chair share. One of the stylists assists with product ordering, scheduling, and payroll for an additional $10/hour. 

Services provided include color, cut, balayage, highlights, hair extensions, updos and event styling, wedding and event hair and makeup, express facials, and facial waxing. The salon offers their clients three brands of professional products from which to choose. Price for services ranges from $34-$64 for women’s haircuts, $24-$55 for men’s haircuts, and color starting at $54. On average, the salon makes 55% from each service. All products are marked up 100% mark up, with stylists receiving stylist 10-20% commission. Salon RTS (retail to service) is a very strong 17.50% for the year, compared to the national average of 8%. 

Current owner is dedicated to the future success of the salon and is willing to assist to ensure a smooth transition. She owns two other salons, and as this is the farthest away from her, has made the difficult decision to sell this location. Given that she owns two other salons with the same name, the name is not included in the price of the business.
